Lhaso Apso dogs are small and hairy. They have large dark eyes. The ears are the most hairy parts of their body. Back legs of this dog are more thickly covered with hair, than the front legs. The tail is very hairy and set high, curling over the back of the dog. The coat is long and it has two layers. The hair is straight. The hair is long and goes all the way down to the floor, if not cut. Even though Lhaso Apso dogs are most popular in golden or cream colors, all colors are acceptable.
